Opening Remarks & Keynote Speaker
Women in Leadership Committee Chair Kathy Hoehn opens the second annual Women in Leadership Summit. This year's theme is 'Resilience.' Within the context of public education, resilience refers to the ability of systems and individuals within those systems to experience jarring setbacks and find a way to bounce back from that adversity.
This session includes a message from the Alberta Teachers' Association President Jason Schilling, introductions of the WIL Committee members and and inspiring talk from diversity and inclusion expert Marni Panas: “My life in transition: The road to authenticity and self-determination”
